SimplyTweet 3.2 for iPhone: iOS 4 multitasking and task completion, hi-res icons

The changelog for SimplyTweet is nothing if not meticulously detailed (click on the screenshot to see a larger version). I can confirm that the multitasking and task completion work, but I haven’t been able to use the touted “address book link” feature. I’ve linked Patrick’s @justiphoneblog Twitter account to his contact details in my iPhone address book, but there isn’t any sort of “direct message” button to be seen. I even tried loading up the actual Contacts app (as opposed to just using Phone) to see if that would make a difference, but it didn’t.

Has anyone gotten address book linking to work? If you’d like to try it, simply go all the way into a user’s Twitter profile within SimplyTweet (tap on the display pic) and you should see an option to create a new contact or add to an existing one.
