Any app created by Tapbots is very likely going to be an impulse buy, as far as I’m concerned. So when I saw the buzz about Calcbot’s release on Twitter, I logged right into iTunes, snapped the app up for the introductory price of $0.99, and then filmed the quick video I’ve showcased above (which pales in comparison to Mark Jardine’s HD promo video).
Don’t forget to head to Macheist and pick up your free copy of Socialite for the Mac, though. All you need to do is sell your soul (just a little tiny piece) and spread the word of Calcbot’s release on Facebook, and then Socialite ($30) is yours for free. Will I use Socialite? Maybe. Did I have to pay for it? No.
