Flickr 1.2 for iPhone: iOS 4 multitasking and task completion, but no hi-res graphics (yet)

If there’s one thing that iOS 4 needs for apps like Flickr, it’s some sort of status bar icon to show that a background task is being processed, and perhaps a *ding* sound once it has completed. The current solution of displaying a badge counter atop Flickr is alright, but it still leaves me to load up the app every now and then to check if the upload has finished (badges only update after you exit an app).
