Photoforge 1.93 for iPhone: iOS 4 multitasking, optimized image processing

Photoforge ($2.99 – review), which does a better job of mimicking Photoshop functionality than Photoshop.com Mobile,  is now multi-tasking enabled. There isn’t any actual background task completion for saving large images, but you can simply leave the app and come back to it to finish saving a file.

This newest update also boasts an optimized image processing engine, but it’s honestly been a while since I’ve used Photoforge for me to tell the difference. I’ve recently been using a mix of Camera+, TiltShiftGen, and Pixelmator on the Mac for my image manipulation needs.
