Something about the last update of Awesome Note ($3.99) seems to have broken part of its Evernote syncing capability (or maybe it was Evernote’s Trunk rollout that broke 3rd party syncing?). The problem — which is now sorta-kinda-fixed in v4.2 — was that you could upload notes to Evernote, but not download new ones. It was basically a one-way sync every time, but the syncing dialogue never showed you any problems.
Unfortunately, version 4.2 seems to have introduced a little speed bump (to put it mildly): syncing is now two-way, but I noticed that the app has started to re-download *all* of my notes. This isn’t too bad for me, considering I have a measly 100MB stored on the service, but I can imagine this being a real pain for more hardcore Evernote users.
