MacRumors is reporting that Apple has begun processing refunds for recent and back-ordered iPhone 4 bumper case orders from Apple Online Store. The refund processing is expected to continue for the next several days. Apple has yet to process refunds for customers who bought the bumper cases in-store, but is expected to begin so shortly.
Of course, this is being done by Apple as a way to satisfy customers who are experiencing signal problems with the iPhone 4, and to calm the frenzied press. So, Apple is offering a select set of cases for free to iPhone 4 customers, and offering a refund to those who have already bought a case.
