ColorBlast! ($1.99 – review here) saw two significant changes in this update (one of which is actually undocumented). The first is the addition of the new sponge and spray can tools, which allow you to gently add or remove colour in an area with a soft brush effect. This makes it much easier to add colour to rounded areas, where the “hard brushes” spill colour outside the lines.
The second little change comes in the form of a new startup screen. There’s now a two-page mini tutorial for all of ColorBlast!’s controls that should come in quite handy for those who were wondering what their new purchase can really do.
