Monster Dash hitting App Store on August 19th, but the trailer is here now

There comes a time in every man’s life where he is left with no other choice but to run to the right, or die. Instead of hiding from this truth, the developers of Halfbrick Studios have developed an entire simulator around this scenario, and cleverly disguised it as a game. They call it “Monster Dash“, and instead of slashing fruit, you’ll be tasked with jumping over and gunning down waves of zombies, mummies, and vampires.

The premise definitely looks like fun, but I think only real hands-on time on August 19th will tell me if it’s anything different from “Canabalt with guns” (actually, that sounds kinda cool).
