It’s a moment all iPhone users (or users of any smart mobile device) dread – when your iPhone goes for an unexpected swim, or gets accidentally soaked. We’ve experienced it once in my household, with my wife’s 3G – and it’s a horrible feeling whenever it does happen.

It’s obviously something that only the very brave at heart, and the very dexterous with tiny screwdrivers, will want to consider. Of course you also stand a very good chance of voiding your warranty by even attempting any of this, and you might be better off seeking some professional repair help if your baby ever takes as long a dip as the one shown in the video.
It’s nice to see that rice and silica packs still have a starring role in things as well.
