Back in old school iPhone days, before there was an App Store and all we had was jailbreak apps and web apps (which seems like around a million years ago), iRovr was a popular social web app for many iPhone users.
It allowed you to share photos and messages easily from your iPhone and had a nice community feel to it. It was discontinued earlier this year “ but it soon to be resurrected, as a native iPhone app.
If you ‘re a former iRovr user, you should have already received an email offering an invite to help beta test the upcoming app (though places are very limited).
The plans are to start beta testing at the beginning of September and for the iRovr app to hit the App Store by October 1st.
Any old school readers here who remember iRovr?
