WeeMee, the cutesy iOS avatar creator, has gone the way of the freemium app. There are 300 customizable parts to play with by default, but it’s the developer’s hope that you’ll become so hooked on accessorizing your non-Pandora Avatar that you’ll fork out a little more cash for a few more premium options.

I tried the app out quickly to create a 2D version of myself for the site. I seem to have created a monster (which is about right — I used the mirror as a reference), so I decided on the ominous castle and red roses for the background. I also added an iPhone on account of this being JAiB and all…
