Notified Pro ($2.99 on Cydia, more details here) was updated earlier this week with a pretty major feature: native mail notifications that show sender and subject. These notifications show up only if you use one of the current notification plugins (notificationbar, statusbar, or GriP). You can’t turn the mail pop-ups off at the moment due to a bug, but an update should fix that up soon enough.

I’m still waiting for a Statusbar Notification fix, though. It’s been weeks and the devs haven’t even acknowledged that their plugin just skips a few beats every once in a while. Aaargh.
