iLife '11 Seen on Amazon, Listing Later Pulled

TUAW is reporting that the family pack version of iLife ’11 has been spotted on Amazon.com retailing for $99 and shipping within 2-4 weeks.

The listing appears to have been posted on the site way back on July 27th. The TUAW reader was able to purchase the software, but “Did not finalize the order, but was able to get right up to the final confirmation without an error.” However, since the story broke, the listing has been pulled from Amazon.

iLife (and iWork for that matter) are due for a refresh. The last major update to the suite was in January 2009. Apple traditionally sticks to an 18 month release cycle. Proof being that iLife and iWork ’08 were released in the fall of 2007.

Additionally, we heard reports a few weeks back that iLife ’11 would be introduced alongside the new iPods. This of course didn’t happen, but with a increased frequency of rumors surrounding the software suites we should be seeing and hearing more of it in the coming weeks.

Oh, does anyone remember those iLife and iWork ’07 listings on Amazon way back in early 2007? Yeah, I thought so.
