OhLife isn’t specific to the iPhone, but it’s certainly a great, free way to keep a journal (or diary, if you’re macho enough to say that out loud) on most any device that can write an e-mail (oh, like an iPhone). A big thanks to Shawn Blanc for the heads-up.
The idea behind OhLife is simple: every day at 8 PM you’ll receive an e-mail asking you about your day. You can respond with one picture and as much text as you’d like, after which point your entry will show up on your account on OhLife.com. You can ignore as many days as you like, but I do suggest you keep the OhLife e-mails around so that you can add details to a specific date when you finally have the time.
I’ve started to use this site instead of waiting on Momento’s long, long, long awaited update because it’s just so much easier to use a web app than an iPhone-specific one. I also dig how the service sends you a random entry along with every e-mail, so you can get sneak peeks at what you’ve written from right within your mail client.
