MacRumors is reporting, and I can confirm with my own experience, that orders for the fourth-generation iPod touch are now beginning to ship.
Some customers are being quoted a deliver date of Friday, September 10th (like me), while others are being quoted a delivery date of September 14th. Of course, these new iPod touches, along with new nanos and shuffles, were introduced last week at Apple’s media event.
Customers in the U.S. and Canada are still being quoted a “1 week” shipping timeframe if they place an order today. Other countries are quoting a “5-7 day” shipping timeframe.
The other new iPod models introduced last week similarly show a “1 week” shipping timeframe, and we hear at Mactropolis haven’t received reports of these models shipping yet.
Did you order one of the new iPod nanos or shuffles? Is it shipping yet? Leave a comment!
