Apple has released iOS 4.1 for the iPhone and iPod touch. Owners of an iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, second, and third generation iPod touch models, can install the update at no charge.
The update itself brings several fixes and new features with it. For starters, some of the new features include: Game Center (which will run on all but the iPhone 3G), High Dynamic Range photos on iPhone 4, and the ability to upload HD videos to YouTube and MobileMe via Wi-Fi on the iPhone 4.
Additionally, the update addresses some major bugs, like the proximity sensor issues experienced by some iPhone 4 customers, the iOS performance issues seen by some iPhone 3G users, and some miscellaneous Bluetooh problems.
The update is available for download now, and can be obtained via iTunes under your device’s preference pane.
