Dating back to my iPhone 3GS, I have gotten my hands on four different Sena cases, and I have loved every single one. Sena cases are unique in that they aren’t the typical case you find at Best Buy or the Apple Store. I’m sure many of us have found ourselves unhappy after a phone case purchased turned sour. Whether it underperformed, was cheaply made, or was too bulky, many of us have been there.
You won’t feel that way with Sena cases. They are a different breed, and that’s what makes them so good. How many cases have you seen that come with a mini-pamphlet about the case? From the design of the packaging to the case itself, Sena clearly takes pride in their cases.
The case I most recently spent some time with is the UltraSlim for the iPhone 4, which Sena claims is the thinnest pouch they offer. It is absent any sort of clip or anything, so it is essentially just a pouch. The phone slides in nice and easy for a real snug fit. While in the case, only the top of the phone and a little bit on the sides are exposed (for gripping when removing it from the case). There are also two tiny holes on the bottom for the mic and speaker.
To remove the phone from the case, grab both sides with one hand and pinch the bottom with the other to slide it up a bit. Then, just grab the exposed part of the phone up top and voila.
As you can see from the pictures, I took a look at the white/red case, mainly because it reminded me of a baseball. The white leather part has a nice feel that is contrasted well with the red stitching. The inside is what’s most important, however, and Sena nailed that part as well. While inside, your phone is surrounded by velvet lining. George Costanza would be proud.
If you are looking for a pouch for your phone, I highly recommend this offering by Sena. Their dedication to high-quality cases is evident from the moment you start using one of their products, and this one is no exception.
