Here’s something I hadn’t noticed in iTunes 10 until yesterday : universal apps are separated from regular ol’ iPhone/iPod apps in the iPhone Sync -> Apps tab. This presumably works for iPad apps, too, but I don’t own an iPad (yet…).
I do miss the text search within the app sync tab, though. It seems like that disappeared completely in the upgrade to version 10.
