Users yet to upgrade to the iPhone 4 and still clinging on to their trusty 3G/3GS will no doubt have been disappointed about the lack of HDR photo support for their device in the recent iOS 4.1 update. If you’ve jailbroken your device, however, and you’re running the iOS 4.1 beta, you’re in luck!
HDR Camera Enabler is now available for the iPhone 3G & 3GS through the Cydia application and it allows you to use the new feature on your device. Again, you’ll need to be jailbroken and running the iOS 4.1 beta; there’s not yet a jailbreak for the final release of 4.1, but the Dev Team are working on it.
If you haven’t already, Redmond Pie offers some good instructions on how to jailbreak both your iPhone 3G and your iPhone 3GS.
If you get this up and running, please leave a comment to let us know how well it works on these devices.
