Good news for all of you iPhone-owning Google Voice fans.  The GV Mobile iPhone app (that was banned ages ago and switched to the Cydia jailbreak store) has been resubmitted at the beginning of this week for App Store approval – following Apple’s recent changes to App Store policies.

Here’s a little more detail on the newly submitted app:

– New app name is “GV Mobile +”

-The app will support the retina display

-The app will do iOS 4 quick-app-switching/multitasking

-There may be some sort of push notification feature in this release or in a future update.

If the app is approved this time round, it should hit the App Store with a starting price of $2.99.  You can follow the developer of GV Mobile – @seankovacs – on Twitter for more details and hopefully soon some news on the app’s (re) launch in the App Store.
