Best Buy has announced that starting September 26th, all 1093 of their stores will carry the iPad. Since the iPad launch in April, only 675 of Best Buy’s stores have carried the iPad. They will also carry iPad accessories in all stores.
Best Buy Co. Inc. (NYSE: BBY), the nation’s largest consumer electronics retailer, today announced that it will expand availability of the Apple iPad with Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi +3G models to all 1,093 U.S. stores beginning Sept. 26. Best Buy is a preferred channel partner for the Apple iPad, now selling the popular device online (for in-store pick-up) and through Apple Shop locations within 673 Best Buy stores.
In recent weeks we’ve seen a flurry of reports, that all say the same thing: Apple is now making enough iPads to keep up with demand. With that, the company is also expanding the device’s reach in to new markets such as China, and Latin America.
