Apple has pushed out a software update to support their imminently available 27-inch LED Cinema Display. The new display went on sale last Friday, and currently has a shipping timeframe 1-2 weeks.
The update titled, “LED Cinema Display Software Update 1.0” is available for download, is 75.79MB in size, and requires Mac OS X 10.6.4. The update itself makes a few changes to the System Preferences pane, giving users the options for audio output, and ambient light sensor tweaks.
Windows users will see the Magic Trackpad driver package expanded to also include the driver for the new Cinema Display.
