Official Google Voice App Approved for the App Store?

The App Store review office at 1 Infinite Loop has officially frozen over: we’ve gotten word that the official Google Voice application is on its way to the iPhone in the next few weeks. In fact, we’ve heard from a source close to Google that it’s already been approved — Google just needs to revamp the application to work with the iPhone 4 and iOS’s multitasking capabilities.

That’s a slice from a recent report at TechCrunch. Google are refusing to comment on the rumor, but it sounds like good news for iPhone-owning Google Voice users – and it hardly seems far-fetched given that at least two other Google Voice apps have hit the App Store last week.

For any of you who are Google Voice users, are you already content with the Google web app or one of the other two apps, or looking forward to the release of the official app?
