The free Apple Remote app, which I use to manipulate my iTunes library from afar, has been updated for the first time in perhaps a decade. It’s not that there was anything wrong with the older version of the app, but, apparently, people were clamouring for a new logo, Retina Display and Apple TV support, and control of home shared libraries.
One thing Apple didn’t mention in the update notes was iOS 4 Fast App Switching, which also seems to have been added. It used to take about three or four seconds to load the app up, but it pops up instantly now. Nice.
[thanks to TiPB for the heads-up]
