The new WordPress 2.6 looks promising, but it just doesn’t seem to want to function properly. For one thing, typing up this post from within the app was one of the laggiest experiences I’ve ever had on the 3GS. I had 90 MB of RAM free while typing this post up, but it felt like my phone was dying.

Then there’s the fact that it doesn’t seem to believe we post *anything* on JAiB, because I can download any of our most recent posts (Comments and Pages load up just fine, though). In fact, I was able to upload this draft from my iPhone to the site, but wasn’t able to see it again. I had to use the Mac to complete the rest of it.
