“Notational Velocity forked” adds new features to the excellent open source Mac app

Notational Velocity for the Mac is already pretty kick-ass and pretty darn feature complete note app — especially for something that costs absolutely no cash, money, or blood sacrifices to acquire. However, @elasticthreads thought that he’d tinker around with it anyway, and he’s sharing his modded version of the app, dubbed Notational Velocity forked, with everyone in the Internet (how sweet!).

One of the biggest features in this little mod is the addition of a full-screen mode for NV, which might even allow some people to ditch apps like WriteRoom, Pages, or OmmWriter if all they were looking for was a full-screen, zero-distractions writing tool. Just beware, though: there’s currently a bug that keeps notes from saving if you hide the notes list, so make sure you keep it visible for now.
