Apple issued a number of invites to the press yesterday, for a media event slated for October 20th, 2010 at 10AM Pacific Time. The event will be held at Apple’s campus in Cupertino, California. The tagline on the invite states, “Back to the Mac.”
The invitation itself depicts a lion behind a rotating Apple logo, suggesting that Mac OS X 10.7 “lion” will be given lip service.
Also, it would be safe to assume Apple could introduce refreshed MacBook Pros, and even as John Gruber hinted at, an all-new MacBook air. Besides, for the past few years, Apple has released notebook refreshes in the October-November timeframe.
