Target stores are going to get even more Apple-friendly, according to Apple Insider. As part of a larger plan to add a mobile phone section to almost half of its over 1,700 nationwide stores, Target is reportedly set to add the iPhone to its list of Apple offerings, which will come on the heels of the store’s recent iPad launch.
Since no completion date has been announced for its mobile phone section launch, there’s no word on how soon customers will be able to add an iPhone to their shopping basket of Target goodies.
It should be noted that Target has yet to officially announce any such plans. However, Sam’s Club, a Wal-Mart subsidiary, recently announced that they will be the next company to hop on the Apple train by offering iPhones and iPads in the near future.
