Quick Note: Apple Seeds Yet Another Build of Mac OS X 10.6.5 to Developers

MC223.jpegApple has seeded another build (build 10H555) of Mac OS X 10.6.5 to developers. As usual, this build comes just two weeks after the previous build.

There are still no known issues documented in the update, but is asking developers to focus their testing on Printing, QuickTime, Time Machine, 3D Graphics, and USB Devices.

Granted it’s always difficult to predict Apple’s release schedule, but the last several seeds of Mac OS X 10.6.5 have been issue free, and released on a regular two week schedule, suggesting the update may be nearing release.

Another reason to believe that a public release may be imminent, is the fact that Apple is holding a special Mac related event on October 20th, that appears to be focused on Mac OS X 10.7.
