Apple press conference days can only mean two things: new gadgets and new accessories. WaterField Designs’ timing couldn’t be better with its announcement of two new custom-fitting bags for the new MacBook Air: the SleeveCase and the Suede Jacket Sleeve.
The Suede Jacket Sleeve provides a layer of protection for the new MacBook Air while adding minimal bulk. The inside of the case is lined with a layer of neoprene for added security. The 11″ model is priced at $25, while the 13″ will cost you $29.
The SleeveCase is “cushioned with high-grade neoprene and wrapped in a ballistic nylon shell,” according to the company’s website. The base models are priced at $37 and $39, respectively, with the optional additions of leather trim, a flap, a shoulder strap, and/or a Piggyback pouch adding more to the price.
Both cases were announced within minutes of Apple’s announcement of their new ultra-thin laptop, and both promise to ship by October 29th.
