I’ve used the V-Moda Vibe Duos and Vibe II’s and really like the level of sound the little buds are able to pump out. The Vibe Duos were admittedly pretty flaky (both mine and my friend’s broke within 8 months), but the Vibe II I purchased has been going strong for over a year, which is pretty amazing, considering that I take my headphones everywhere and use them almost every day.
That brings me to the new-ish V-Moda Vibrato — which looks almost exactly like the Vibe II, but for an improved remote control and a (hopefully) improved microphone (the Vibe II features a pretty craptastic mic). They’re also compatible with most every kind of Apple product out there — including Macs.
The Vibrato is an expensive set at $129.99, but if it’s anywhere near as sonically awesome and durable as my Vibe II’s, then it could make for a great (and incredibly stylish) purchase for those looking for a new set of in-ear headphones.
