360iDevAustin

360iDev is touted as ‘the first and still the best’ iPhone developer conference in the world. It’s certainly the first one I can recall being aware of, and seems to among the best-respected in the iOS development community.

And it’s coming to Austin, Tx (my lovely hometown) next month, from November 7-10.

Here’s more info on the event, straight from the 360iDev site:

WHERE: Marriott Austin South. More information on the Hotel and Travel Page, including booking information.

How Much? $599 (That includes hands-on Pre-Conference training Sunday 11/7, and 3 days of awesome content)

When it comes to 360|iDev it’s important to know the following.

What to bring: You, your laptop, ideas

What you’ll leave with: New friends, business contacts, inspiration, and more knowledge than you’ll get anywhere else (40+ Sessions, delivered by over 30 speakers). Probably a book or two as well.

360|iDev is the first and still the best iPhone developer conference in the world. We’re not a publishing company pushing books, or a media company selling subscriptions. We’re a conference company, focused on community. Our goal is to bring the best and brightest in the developer community together for 3 days of incredible sessions, awesome parties, good times, and learning. If you don’t leave Wednesday night, with more ideas than you know what to do with, we’re not doing our jobs!

For more info and to book your place at the conference, visit the 360iDev site here:

I’m definitely planning to attend for at least some of the days, and I’m really hoping to meet up with some of the iOS devs I’ve followed over the years as well as lots of talented devs I’ve never come across before.

If you’re going to be attending and have any time to meet up for an iOS apps chat or just a cold one, give me a shout via Twitter – @justiphoneblog – or our Contact page.
