Although my experience hasn’t been quite the same, I agree that the velcro/hook-&-loop could be improved. I am finding that after nearly two years of usage, not only is the velcro failing, so is the glue that holds the pass-through loop. Granted, I don’t do a lot of upper body workouts (primarily running only) so your experience may certainly be justified. Thanks.

Every time I do an exercises that requires the flexing of my bicep (ie. chinups, shoulder presses, bench presses, etc.), the velcro keeps snapping off! Can be particular annoying especially in the middle of a rep.
