The Apple Store app – one of Apple’s own official iOS apps – has got an uopdate this week, to Version 1.1. Here’s what’s new:
– Add engraving and gift wrapping to select purchases from the Apple Online Store.
– Reserve products for pickup at an Apple Retail Store.
– Check in for reservations and request help within stores (iOS 4 required).
Not earth-shaking news, but a couple nice little features added, and of course the engraving and gift wrapping right on time for the holidays. This is already quite a handy app to have – as more than once it has come through on crazy new Apple product launch days when you couldn’t order online, and you could via this app.
You can find the latest version of the Apple Store app in the App Store now, and it’s a free app.
