.Just days after Apple launched the Chinese version of their online store, the iPhone 4 has sold out. M.I.C gadget is reporting that scalpers are the reason for Apple’s online store’s rapid stock depletion. This of course, is the same problem that was plaguing Apple’s Chinese retail stores until the company put more stringent purchasing requirements in place such as reservations, purchase limits and personal IDs.

“You will not have a chance to buy one. We have an auto-refresh system to place order, and we are watching it for 24 hours, can you do this?”

Expect Apple to put restrictions on the Chinese online store like they have for their retail stores and other international stores.
