Apple Seed Yet Another Build of Mac OS X 10.6.5 to Developers

MC223.jpegApple has seeded yet another build (Build 10H568) to developers. This build comes just days after the previous build that was released last Monday. As with the last several builds, this seed contains no known issues, and Apple is still asking developers to focus their testing in the same areas such as QuickTime, 3D Graphics, Printing, Time Machine, and USB Devices.

As I hinted at above, the last several builds have been released within days of each other. Prior to that, builds were being issued on a weekly and bi-weekly basis. Also the build number accompanying this seed is an increment of five over the last seed, suggesting that Apple is determined to put finishing touches on the update so that it can be released to the public.

Also worth noting, the 10.6.5 update will be needed to support the AirPrint feature coming to iOS 4.2, which itself is slated for release this month. That means, if everything is on schedule, we can expect one if not both updates imminently.
