MacRumors is reporting that Apple is now accepting application submissions for their forthcoming Mac App Store. The Mac App Store was announced last month, and would launch 90 days from the time of the announcement.

The report also notes that the Mac App Store submission guidelines and policies are very similar if not the same as the iOS App Store rules. Also like the iOS App Store, the Mac App developer program costs $99/year.
