It’s official, World of Goo for iPhone will launch this Thursday, April 14! It will be priced at $2.99 (and equivalents in the rest of the world) but will be on sale for $0.99 for the first 24 hours after release.
That’s straight from the horse’s developers’ mouth. Or at least their site. 2D Boy have announced that their hit game is coming to the iPhone tomorrow. There’s already an iPad version – World of Goo HD – which has just been updated today to a universal version.
So as of tomorrow if you want to be able to play World of Goo on both iPhone and iPad, you can grab the HD version for $4.99 – and if you only need it on the iPhone you’ll have the (briefly) $0.99 becoming $2.99 iPhone only app. The iPhone version requires an iPhone 3GS or later or an iPod Touch 3rd gen or later.
