Apple Employees Join In on the ‘It Gets Better’ Project

Late last week, a video from Apple Employees emerged on YouTube contributing to the It Gets Better Project, which is a movement trying to prevent suicides of LGBT teens who are currently facing harassment.

A number of Apple employees give their testimonies, and the harassment they have experienced for being gay. The most noticeable appearance in the video , is that of Randy Ubillos, the head of video applications. His most recent appearance was demoing iMovie for the iPad.

Apple’s video joins videos from a slew of other companies including Yahoo, Facebook, Google, Adobe and many more.

As a straight, 20 year old man, I think this video is wonderful, honest, and one might even say- human. As someone who has been directly affected by a suicide in the family, I find this project a deeply noble cause.
