Apple has released an smaller update for Mac OS X Lion Developer Preview 2, the same preview build that was released in late March. Anyway, few reports have leaked revealing what is new in this build. It can’t be much, considering that it didn’t warrant a “Preview 3” designation.
Apple is doing their part, and is sending out emails to registered developers notifying them that they can download the update via Software Update if they currently have Preview 2 installed.
Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, is of course, Apple’s forthcoming new OS, and has been slated, by Apple, for a “summer” release. It seems that the company is going to hit this mark, considering their recent flurry of developer previews. Plus, there are rumors that Apple has internally designated a “gold master candidate” build, which is only a few steps away from a final release in a development cycle.
