I think this is one of the best note-taking app for the iOS devices, and it has some potential to become the major player (if they work on the cloud-based services and desktop platforms).

I found I just had no patience for the app because a) it had no easy way to sync notes and b) didn’t seem to care much about guiding new users. Have you tried Awesome Note for iPhone or iPad? I own the iPhone version and it does kick a lot of ass (syncing isn’t very good, though)

I tried out the app in earnest (no pun intended) yesterday to take notes of a speech I attended. It’s true that the UI is not immediately logical. I found myself panicking more than once for fear I had erased the notes I had already taken. Still I must say I’ll be giving the app a fair chance since the experience of writing is quite aesthetically pleasing. I’m guessing I’ll master the learning curve with time.
