Reuters is reporting that the next-generation iPhone, will ship this September, after a production ramp up in July.
The report also generically claims that the next-generation iPhone will have a faster processor and will look nearly identical to the current iPhone 4.
Nothing here is earth-shattering. Several recent reports have claimed that the next-generation iPhone will be released around September, and it’s no stretch of the imagination that such a new device would have a faster processor in it.
There is little meat on this bone, except that the rumors are now coming from a larger media source, like Reuters. That’s always significant, and gives creditability to other reports echoing the same.
