It finally appears that manufacturers are beginning to catch up with demand, as the quoted shipping timeframes for the iPad 2 are now at “1-2 Weeks“. This is an improvement over the previously quoted “2-3 Weeks.”
Unlike what had been originally reported by other sources, this new shipping timeframes does seem to be in effect for all online stores that Apple operates. That is, regardless if you are in North America, Europe, Asia, or the Pacific, you’re now going to be quoted a “1-2 Weeks” ship time.
To be fair, this isn’t just manufacturers catching up with high demand. I’m sure demand is settling some as well; after the rush of first adopters from the device’s launch last month.
