I left friendly 3 mths ago tried all so called fixes nothing worked. Really don’t see they even tried to fix it same ol problems as before just tried it again wow don’t know why I even post this they don’t read them!

Try Myfacetab it works perfectly. Since friendly is not working I had to switch

Try FriendCaster for iPad. Still working on a few key features but the most elegant native app for facebook on iPad.

For what it’s worth, Oecoway communicated to its user community this unexpected wrinkle caused by Facebook’s recent server changes which created these hiccups. Friendly has submitted a fix and is standby for Apple to work it through their approval cycles. Here’s the link to Friendly’s facebook page about the status of this issue:

Agreed on most counts. I don’t have quite the level of distaste for Friended as mikelite but I do prefer Friendly.

What gets me is how long it has taken them to respond to this – if I had an application out there and the service that it feeds off of made a change, thus making my app largely unusable, I’d be working 24/7 to make sure that I was saving face with my users. I’d be publishing updates on progress. I’d be begging users to just hang on a little longer.

Friendly will come back as the great Facebook experience that it was. The reputation of the developer, however, might not make it through quite as unscathed.

Exactly what I am experiencing. Funny thing is I had just downloaded another FB app to try it out then friendly started it’s shenanigans. I thought I may of hurt it’s feelings 😉

that’s what I did too – went right to Friended. But I forgot what a cluttered, ugly experience it was.
