9to5Mac is reporting that Apple is delaying iMac orders, and is notifying customers that their recently placed orders will be delayed until next week. This move is proceeding a reported iMac refresh which is rumored to be slated the week of May 2nd.
MacRumors adds to the story by claiming that they have heard Apple will be swapping out their in-store promotional material come Tuesday, May 3rd. This timeframe would also match up nicely with a previous report that claimed new iMacs were coming either the end of April or the beginning of May. We had also recently heard that iMac supplies are running low, which is another good indicator that a refresh is imminent.
The biggest thing, besides a processor boost, I think we can expect to see, is the introduction of Thunderbolt to the iMac line.
