Apple does not keep track of user’s location. The one who knows where exactly you are, is your cell phone carrier, and Google.

I get it now. You wrote that “federal court has filed suit against Apple regarding privacy concerns”. But it’s not the federal court filing suit, it’s someone filing suit in a federal court. Individual states have a history of knee jerk actions like that, but not the Feds.

And if there was an investigation, since then do the Feds so efficiently conclude one? And would Apple refuse to do something about this? I agree that this is a problem for Apple. But a federal lawsuit? Unlikely.
