MacRumors is reporting that they have heard that Apple’s next revision of the MacBook Pro will see a case redesign. This would be the first case redesign since 2008. Supposedly, the current MacBook Pros, are the last of the “incremental” updates, and the next will be a total redesign.
That said, MacRumors offers no details on what the new MacBook Pros might look like. They do suggest that the new machines may look more like their MacBook Air counterparts than they currently do.

You also have to remember the last case design was introduced in late 2008, and Apple traditionally gives each design around five years of service before moving on.
