Lots of iPhone users state their preference for using the device ‘naked’ (meaning without a case). Well here’s a whole new level of nakedness to enjoy with your iPhone 4 – it’s a super cool Transparent Rear Panel for iPhone 4 from the super cool team at iFixit.com.
The cover only works with the AT&T iPhone 4, not the Verizon model as yet because the rear panel is different on the Verizon units. The panel is made of plastic and should be less likely to fracture (and certainly be cheaper to replace) than the standard iPhone 4 rear panel.
The iFixit team has even got a guide available to help you install the panel – and these are the guys who produce the best teardowns and how-to gadget repair guides on the web of course.
