Fortune is reporting that Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering at Apple, Bob Mansfield, has sold off 99% of his shares in Apple, and now only holds 501 shares. The report goes on to say that he sold 38,863 shares at a price of $351.89 a piece, which netted him some $13.6 million.
Mansfield has been known to do this. That is, sell off stock, and purchase, with a 15% employee discount, when the stock price dips. To date, he has sold more than $58 million in Apple stock over the past three or so years.
Mansfield still has 30,000 shares in vested options, and will be offered another 100,000 shares in 2014. Not too shabby considering he’s been with Apple since 1999.
