The promised QuickCursor support in Byword ($7.99) has arrived alongside native auto-save and document recovery, making this a much safer app to do your writing in. I didn’t think I’d buy or buy into Byword when it first came out, but it’s proving to be a very classy and fun full-screen writing app.
